Couples can indulge in chocolate, wine, and cigars at the all-new Pívat Cigar Lounge. For $40 guests will receive two glasses of either Greystone Chardonnay or Cabernet, two chocolate-dipped strawberries, and two Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real Corona cigars (a $50 value). Located within the Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa and next door to The Steakhouse, Pívat offers more than 100 hand-selected cigars from some of the finest makers from around the world, and a menu that includes top-shelf spirits, beer, wine and dining entrees.

Valentine’s Day Dinner at Grand Palms Buffet

I've enjoyed the Sunday - Thursday prime rib and shrimp menu here several times, and it really good. The price may seem steep at first ($20/person in '10), but the superior quality and broad variety of preparation makes this casino buffet a good value, especially if you are hungry!

The romantic Valentine’s Day three-course menu at Agua Caliente’s bright and comfortable Waters Café will begin with a salad featuring California Bibb lettuce, vine ripened tomatoes, crispy shaved onions and parmesan with a Champagne vinaigrette; followed by a surf and turn meal featuring petite filet, jumbo scampi, whipped potato, mushroom fricassee, bordelaise, and asparagus. For dessert, guests will enjoy a romantic heart-shaped red velvet cake topped with vanilla bean ice cream and fresh strawberry compote. Thursday, February 14, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., $36 per person.

“Valentine’s Super Love Jam” at The Show

Celebrating his 75th year on the radio, Art Laboe is bringing to The Show at Agua Caliente some of the most requested and dedicated love jam artists from his syndicated radio show, live and in person: Zapp, Midnight Star, The Jets, GQ and The Delfonics for his first “Valentine’s Super Love Jam” concert in the Coachella Valley in 10 years. At Spa Resort Casino’s recently remodeled Oasis Buffet, guests can choose from a variety of salads, including house smoked salmon; a Full Pan Pacific Station, serving pad Thai noodles and Tilapia three-flavor; a Latin and Mediterranean station serving chicken tamales, steamed clams and mussels, and oysters Rockefeller; holiday soups, including lobster bisque and champagne asparagus; and carvery selections including slow roasted prime rib and roasted turkey.
